Model EM-41 is a horizontally mounted aluminum backdraft damper designed to permit vertical downward airflow while preventing reverse (upward) flow when the fan is off. The blades open under system pressure differential and close by gravity, providing reliable, power-free backdraft protection. A discharge-side flange ensures secure attachment, and adjustable counterbalance weights assist blade closing to enhance sealing performance.
